"It was a little over a year ago today that I ordered your lamaze video - (sent via RUSH.... I was due in a matter of weeks). I told you that I wanted to have my 1st baby naturally without any anesthesia and didn't believe in the lamaze classes. So, last minute, I decided to at least take a peak at your video with my husband. It was very informative. We enjoyed watching it together. I think it really prepared my husband for what was ahead. I don't think husbands really understand whats involved unless they can "see it".

Well, I am pleased and quite proud to say that my son, Armand Edward Hassen, was born August 19, 1998 without a Tylenol. I did great. Both my husband and mom were at my side throughout labor and delivery. My breathing was perfect. I am very strong willed and was determined to have him Naturally. The last stretch was tough, I must admit. But I remembered you saying in your video that if you come this far it was only about an hour more and we would be ready to push. That gave me the extra strength I needed. I knew it wouldn't be much longer and that I could do it. Armand was "pushed out" in 37 minutes. All in all, I really didn't think it was that bad. I was admitted at 1:00 p.m. and he was born at 6:57 p.m.

After the birth of my first child, I wanted to kick myself for thinking I didn't need a childbirth class. I had an epidural, stadol, vacuum extraction, the works. When I found out I was pregnant with my second child, the first thing I thought was, "sign up for classes." Well, it turned out my husband had work training the exact 8 weeks the classes were scheduled. So about to concede defeat, I helplessly and desperately searched the Internet for something. I found, on your website, exactly what I was looking for. I ordered your lamaze tape, received it the next evening, and the next evening after that my husband and I started the lamaze childbirth preparation (It was a little bit hard to do the relaxation part with a 2 year old standing on my hair!) But every night we practiced and practiced and on March 2, 1999 the test came. I flew through labor like I never thought I would. Only were the last 15 minutes seemingly unbearable. I was so relaxed I went from 4cm to 10cm in less than 3 hours and my Samuel was born with only 2 big pushes. I cannot thank you enough for making what appeared in the beginning to be a repeat of the first delivery into a joyful, unmedicated, truly profound experience. I feel so strong and accomplished for having done it "myself." Once again, thank you.
